Journey Of A Drifting Cloud

The dark grey clouds in the sky, ready to burst any moment,
Are they angry or just full of emotions dormant,
No one knew, none dare to ask too as they drifted closer to their clan,
Hurriedly here and thither they ran before the pitter patter began.

Pulling towards the burden of a sky of grey clouded bond,
Or do the grey clouds intend to stay on safe shores friendly and fond,
Or just pushing away towards a distance beyond,
Towards shores beckoning a bond, only on shores friendly and fond.

Tiny clouds binded the earth and sky with it’s droplets, into the earth it disappear,
Are you the fire which unfurls the melting snow which flows down like a tear,
As you floated and glided in the sky with the wind which blow,
Tranquil your spirits seemed and along you bloated slow.

Journey through the once blue and now grey sky and space beyond,
To transcend the struggling mind within, unaware of the end,
Mind tussles and scuffels, in the vast space ahead endless,
Searching for an unknown cloud filled sky, the heart has an unsettled distress.

  1. Hi Ana,
    Very touching.
Journey need not always be a drifting story.
It has it’s own way of bringing peace to the soul.
    So well penned.
    Thank you.
Can you tell from where you took these photographs ?
The photos are too expressive !
And any special technique used ?
Thank you for the post .Enjoyed reading.
    God bless you.

    1. Thanks a million Sri for the appreciation. Ya you are right…not all journeys are a drifting kind. Some are soul soul searching. These photos were taken when we had the first summer rain this summer. These clouds are the one which poured out as our first summer rain.
I am glad you found it expressive I could see different clouds telling a different tale each time.
For the night shot….moon coming out of the clouds I used the zoom in and night photography mode where the long exposure with a slow shutter speed works in the real camera….but this I caught with the mobile camera but tried to apply the same kind of effect in this.
The last one was catching the twilight in the right time… When both colour was naturally present in the sky along with the cloud.
Thank you for asking with such interest.

  2. If we look around nature it has stories to tell us about Friendship,Love, Romance,Happiness, Solitariness, Craziness of spring .Do you think our life also goes with this rhythm of nature ? I feel the poem picturize the intense of emotions of nature which is connected with us .The pictures are really striking . You are a good photographer too.. Keeping posting for us .. Stopping here and just remebering this famous quote
“Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience”.
