Symphony Musings

Dear friends and fellow bloggers, I am delighted to give you all a collaboration work done with my dearest and most loving friend Shreya Jindal, her blog is a must visit as she writes the most beautiful poems and random thoughts, many times she has left me flabbergasted by her profound writing which is way beyond her age. Shreya it was a pleasure dear, doing this poem with you. You have always been a sport and support from my starting of the blog. And I value your friendship much more than words can say.

Without much more to say here is the poem we loved doing together. Shreya is marked in italics.

Symphony Musings

Softly comes the hush of wind,
Binding me with the nature so kind,
Like the Daisy in full bloom,
I got out of my boring room.

images (20)
A homely zephyr kisses me off,
As I lay on the mountain, Atop.
Mimosa is in its full bloom
Just like himalyan plume.

Lightly, ever so lightly, the wind
Hummed a melodious tune in my mind,
And as I lay there on the mountain top,
I dream of a distant land full of hope.

images (26)

Buttercups handing down from every vine.
Making world seem pretty divide
And here I go making some rhyme
Come true O’ dream of mine.

images (25)

Lillies blooming as the moon watching,
While the darling humming birds fly in nectar searching,
Lovely daffodils dancing to the tune of wild breeze,
All these take me to a moment of ease among the trees.

images (27)

As the clock is marching forward,
Its time to be brave, you coward.
And so is the rain, divine and smooth
Make your dream a mere truth.

Uhmm! What do I say abt myself. Love to read, write, watch tons of movies and loves music. Educated enough to enlighten a few things to a few some who shows the interest to listen. This is me in a nutshell. Will let out little by little, like the cat out of the bag. Ok I think it's time to let out one more passion of mine, which I as much love as writing, and that is cooking. Trying out different new recipies with a slight variation added of mine makes my culinary skills a little adventurous cuisine.

    1. Thank you so much for that beautiful comment….the blend automatically comes when we try to do a collab as we need to understand each other and get comfortable with each other. That is the beauty of a collab post.

  1. The one thing that stoodout while reading this was how beautiful the way you’ve gone through the poem….mountains….lakes…moon….soothing!☺️☺️
And I say this so often that there’s hardly a few who can describe nature the way you do or to frame it better β€˜use the muse of nature’ to create symphony!
Beautiful!πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ» Keep up the good work!πŸ€™πŸ»

    1. Thanks Chiru…..from both of us. Yes collab works out well, if the mindset works well with the collab partner. In this case Shreya was such a sweet heart, that we more than everything had fun and a lasting bond with each other. Glad for someone who is not into poem genre much, was satisfied and enjoyed being a company with us in our journey. Merci beacoup….

  3. Feels like fresh air from the meadows of Himalayas. Anamika you know what, when I was a kid in school, I used to hate reading poems because what we all did was to analyze the grammatical structure of poems, noting down the similes, allusions and personifications. But after all these years I get why poetry is essential for us. Reading this, I was all smiling and happy. Poems take you places where your heart wants to go eventhough your mind is restraining. I sure did love this beautiful trip that your poem took me πŸ™‚ Kudos to you both.

But from 11th std i started to understand poems in a different approach thanks to my Advanced English Mam….after that i had a fascination for this beautiful literature fantasy work…
Yes,… you are absolutely right when you say it takes us to places where our feet can’t go…I haven’t felt this liberated even in prose..
Thanks once again from both Shreya and me for accompanying us in our little symphony trip and thoroughly enjoying it…
