Good… Bad… Ugly

There are good days and bad days for all of us. And ugly we will deal later. Of course the day is not made good or bad…but probably how we feel that day makes the difference….

Some days are too good. You feel on top of the world on a cloud 9 kind of feeling. All the beautiful songs you have heard in your life are on your lips that day. You feel like shouting on top of your voice” I love you Life”. And you keep repeating to your self ” Life is so beautiful”. You ooze positive vibe and energy. And even if by chance your worst enemy comes in your way that day, you are in a mood to give them a hug and say ” Loosen up a bit friend for it’s a beautiful day”. Those are the best and most blessed days

But some days can be horrible….yes the day when others ask you whether you got up from the wrong side of your bed. Any thing can upset you on such days…every single damn word of others. Those are the days I shrink back into my safe zone shell….yes kind of the tortoise shell.. yup everything crawled inside….head….limps…everything. I would rather be with myself than with anyone else for company. Those are the days you feel empty, the days when you feel no one understands you. ” Why was I even born” we ask ourselves on such days . A kind of unexplained depression sets in you. It takes it’s own course to come out of these days. But we do ultimately that matters the most; isn’t it?

Oh ya…and those ugly days…it’s better left unsaid as it’s ugly…the least told the better… so let’s just leave it at that…

  4. Ever since my teen years the proportion of bad days, days which you mentioned that were filled with depression and became larger than good days. As days went by I learnt that self loathing and constant comparison to others is doing no good to my life. I learnt that it’s OK if it’s bad days for weeks or even months. I am trying to suppress the feelings of clinging to nostalgic good days because dwelving in the past is as bad as being anxious about the future. I started smiling for the little things in life. So today? Ya nothing special, occasional visits by the depression monster, but hey I saw a puppy playing in the mud while the momma doggo gave the angry eyes and a little kid combing the hair of an even little-er kid as if she was her momma … So ya a good day 😊

    1. Haha…Mathav…there you are finding the beautiful little precious moments in your otherwise normal days.. Sometimes such little things in our life can make us smile and our living worthwhile isn’t it. I am so glad thozha you dropped in today to read this. I knw it’s not easy to get out of depressive mood and depression but happy to hear you are surely giving it your best try…And you knw we all are here…so if you feel a little bit down on any particular day… stop and log in here and read so many inspirational posts written by the people here and you will feel boosted . All of us have a past which we may not be proud of but God has given us the present as a wrapped up gift to make a beautiful tomorrow. And I am sure you can make it Mathav….Once again nice seeing you here…how iz that preparation of yours going on?

  5. So well said there that days are according to our feel and correctly mentioned that when our mood isn’t correct, we tend to become very agitated even on small things and when in a happy zone, we gulp in the most possible mistake.

    Well, today is been a good day as my mood is good…hehe….and what about you?

      Well I had my share of both these in my recent times… i can be a pain…. in my bad days to those who are associated with me. So i prefer to keep myself on those days. But basically i am a jolly person so i can’t remain in pensive mood for long..All my nakras I do with my family only. Haha…. 😁

    I have experienced the bad n good feeling both..
    that’s right when we feel good even our enemy feels like a friend and we don’t hate anyone..
    negative vibes makes us feel why on earth we were born..
    na yen porantha nu naraya vaati nenachirken that’s so hard feeling…

Yes…both good days and bad days are a part of our life… bad days can be pretty bad…so you too have thoughts like that kind naan yen porendhen kind of feeling ..but we have to overcome those dark days to see the bright light at the end of dark tunnel.. .       1. Aw thanks for that, it cheered me up. Every time I go through a hard time it’s difficukt to stay positive but there’s countless examples of when I’ve mafe it on the other side.       1. Haha, now that is a hard question. 😅 Well I do not try to see days or divide them in good-bad-ugly. Just one more day, Sun rose on time, everything is perfect, earth is rotating on time. So it’s important to give this day all we can.

      3. Frankly put, it depends on who is asking!! For I know I dont regret what I do. I just try to give my best to the day and life happens as a consequence. If you ask, how I feel at the end of the day, is a totally different question then how the day was.

      5. For the world it is maniac Monday, then I think they are not doing what they love. For I, I have exam tomorrow, I had one yesterday. And I am loving it, Anamika!!! 🙌 and the day is perfect as it is, I will not try to make it more perfect. 😁 Now I dont know what I am talking about. 😅
