A Tribute To Father

Dear Dada…….

You are the first man I saw in my life, when I was just a tiny tot,
You are forever my shield and support,
Everytime I stumbled, you caught me in your arms, you were my rock,
You guarded and guided me in every step of my walk.

You are the one, I trust the most,
For never once, you gave me the second best,
You always treated me as the apple of your eye,
For you are my superhero, till I die.

You held my hands, when I took my first steps,
You still hold my hands, everytime I fumble my footsteps,
I have seen a beautiful combination in you,
A mother’s love and father’s care, which is so rare

Heavenly Father, always looks out for me,
And you my earthly Father, takes care of me.
In my times of distress and sorrows, you are my fort,
You have always been a pillar of support.

I take this day, my Dada, to let you know,
You are loved and cherished for who you are,
For you are the best gift God has, in my entire life bestowed,
And I wish you the most blessed birthday ever in your life.

With Love
Your daughter.

Uhmm! What do I say abt myself. Love to read, write, watch tons of movies and loves music. Educated enough to enlighten a few things to a few some who shows the interest to listen. This is me in a nutshell. Will let out little by little, like the cat out of the bag. Ok I think it's time to let out one more passion of mine, which I as much love as writing, and that is cooking. Trying out different new recipies with a slight variation added of mine makes my culinary skills a little adventurous cuisine.

    1. Oh, is that so? Haha..funny isn’t it? Languages can make so much differences. That’s how I called him from when I could talk, and the trend just followed in our family. In some parts of India its a short of Dadaji that is grandpa. But I probably must have cut it short from Daddy, but it’s Dada for all of us. And some cousins and nephews have followed the trend too.😜
