A Walk To Remember

IMG-20180831-WA0000

A walk to remember by, with you on my side,
I have made peace with my inner self,
A conclusion to all my confusion,
I want you with me, forever, till the infinite, at least in my mind.

A walk, I cherish within my heart,
Who knows, when I will ever be able to walk again,
On this sea shore, and with you, so I cherish this forever,
Till the stars withdrew it’s shine so fair.

Time flew past, and everything changed so fast,
But the walk I remember, cause it was my last,
Heaven above stood witness, for that last time,
When I was kissed my final goodbye, before time prime.

For the last time, I turned to look back,
Once and for all, I had made my peace,
With you and the world we belonged to,
Slowly, I merged into the alley, a walk you will always remember me by.

Well... me... I love to read, write, binge watch tons of movies and series and enjoys good music. Educated enough to enlighten a few things to a few some who shows the interest to listen. Love to explore the unknown territories, to know and understand more. Now busy learning to unlearn. This is me in a nutshell.

  1. Beautifully written. Your words flow deep into the heart and yet gently take us upto the clouds ever so lightly.
I read it multiple times and Each time when I read this poem, I could sense ripples after ripples, each time a differs tune than before.
    That’s very deep.

  2. Dheere dheere poetry ko samajh ne me mereko thoda aasan ho raha hai, because the wordings are simple( for a layman like me ),the meaningful expression of making peace with life ,in spite of the happenings in ones life so beautifully penned and the sad part really touching ones heart !
It looks to me ….as I read the poetry ….why should things go wrong for a such a sweet person ?
That means …you make your readers virtually enter the scene and feel for themselves…the intensity of the agony.
Thank you Anamica ji,and it’s high time to start publishing your collections …not for making money but to make how great the poetry or poetess can be.
Usually I don’t read poetry because I know nothing, may be I should re think.
