Lamentation of a Loner

IMG-20180810-WA0000

Missed out somehow from the flock,
Not a bit aware of the worldly clock,
Crying out it’s heart so loud,
Hope of getting heard far and around.

Not aware of it’s surrounding place,
The loner zoomed around it’s gaze,
The unknown place and territory,
The loner feared, he will soon be history.

Remembering the flock by night,
The loner, cried it’s heart out in fright,
Of missing it’s dear ones afar, now in foreign land,
The Lamentation of the loner dying down in an unknown sand.

Well... me... I love to read, write, binge watch tons of movies and series and enjoys good music. Educated enough to enlighten a few things to a few some who shows the interest to listen. Love to explore the unknown territories, to know and understand more. Now busy learning to unlearn. This is me in a nutshell.

  1. Aah that’s pretty wonderful. It’s follows a rhyme scheme so well that I was nearly amazed.
This lonely bird will soon find its way since the earth still pocess a magnetic field and all what bird needs to do is to detect it. Rest physics will deal with.😂😂😂

    1. You knw what, this was actually about a lonely bird outside my bedroom window, crying its heart out for his flock, it seemed like migratory bird to me on his way to some faraway land. And his cries were echoing in my ears for so many days after that. And then this poem happened just all of a sudden as soon as I woke up from my sleep and wrote this in less than 5 mints flat. I swear this is the original draft I made, and rhyming just happened along. I am so glad u liked it, for this was my raw work, no editing, no polishing nothing. This response made my day. Thanks mon ami for that. 😍😋

      1. See this is called magic when one can really feel the nature and poetry happens. The other day i was talking about taking the inspiration from nature and here you inspired me. If this is raw work, i can imagine what would be the standards of your final draft…

Thank you Ma’am .This song I know but I listen again .This guy has a soft and melodious voice.Looks like you love the oldies say 70 s and 80 s.Syncs with my taste. No need to change the gear of course if you permit. One thing I want to know why you are so kind to reply to each response from your followers ? What about trolls? You get depressed or you become stronger ? I know that you are the strongest but I am Curious as to how you manage…..as you know trolls derive pleasure from your so called weakness.Merci

      4. Haan some times I feel the feel.Music had then in 70’s, 80’s and even 90’s is not much seen in now a day’s music. Those times music had soul in it. I am not saying all the songs are bad now a days there are a few good ones no doubt about it, but the old ones are still so pleasing to the ears.
It will be a lie, if I say i answer every response. Sometimes i miss due to some reason.
Trolls are common ,i heard but touch wood I have been spared except for one occasion when a non blogger commented on my constant writings of Melancholy, he felt it was depressing and he thought I was a hopeful person. Oru periya lecture koduthar comment box ile. Thank God, another non blogger counter attacked him very respectfully.
So they kind of argued between each other.

True …that is why they say ‘Old is Gold’

First of all I don’t know why somebody should gooo on arguing just because this person differs in her/his opinion about the post.Just say you differ or agree with the post…and just move on, instead of intimidation.
I feel like just give a distant hug to these guys and just move on.

      6. Ya seriously, we write what we feel..and I think as of now our constitution has not changed and freedom of speech and expression still is our right.
I think these people try to thrust down their opinion on us..like you said, say what you feel and move on…what is the point in clinging on.
Probably they have not heard about the term being diplomatic.

Ok my part of the bargain deal for you tdy is
If it is sadness in love then sometimes love itself doesn’t seem to be enough according to

“Sometimes love ain’t enough by Patty Smyth and Don Henley”

The explanation lyrics in this song is excellent too.
You knw what Sridhar ji, sometimes i feel we are playing a mind game via this Antakshari like songs playing.. ..Are we?

      9. I just completed listening to the song.
Oh ! what a great song!.I love her voice, the song is from the bottom of her heart ( Now i think both singing a song & writing poetry are similar…has to come from the bottom of the heart). Many times they even make the audience cry….cry…and become more emotional. This particular song fits into this category.
To be frank with you, earlier The bangles, and now this Patty smith both are fantastic and I heard for the first time.
And in Patty Smyths words “But there’s a danger in loving somebody to much” is a bit scarry and one can be lost in the unknown world.
From where on earth Aap ithne manpasand gaane pick up kar te hai ?.

Arre aap ke liye ghaana chun na itne aasaan nahi hein janab….especially you being so good at this. It some times take me hours trying to select and guess the songs you might not have heard. Dont you think its dangerous in loving somebody to much?

Me before you too is a beautiful movie…it stays in your long after the watch and raises a few questions in your mind. If you haven’t watched that movie please do. ..for it’s simply marvelous and while you are at it try guesssing where have you seen the heroine of that movie …
